Akhil Barar
CEO
Akhil joined Organica Water in 2009 as Head of Engineering Services and quickly advanced to manage Project Execution, Global Sales, and became COO in 2017, overseeing Business Development, Sales, Supply Chain, HR, and Engineering. He has worked with Organica Water in our Budapest, Shanghai and India offices over the past 15+ years. As CEO of the holding company, he now reports to the Board and manages the company’s global P&L. Prior to Organica Water, Akhil held roles at CH2M Hill, Nuchem, Weir Group, and Veolia Water; specializing in desalination and water treatment across the UK, Middle East, and Asia.
Attila Bodnár
Executive VP, Co-founder
Attila brings over 50 years of experience in corporate management and architectural design. Before co-founding Organica, he built two successful businesses in the U.S., including serving as Managing Partner at Denker & Bodnar Architects, where he led award-winning projects up to $45 million in the NY metropolitan area. He also co-founded a safety tech startup that was acquired by a Fortune 500 company within five years. At Organica, Attila has been a key driver of business development, strategic planning, product development, and marketing for over 20 years.

Suresh Muthusamy
Business Head – ASEAN
Suresh, Business Head of ASEAN at Organica, leads sales and customer relations in the Southeast Asian market. With 25 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment, he joined Organica in 2013. Before this, Suresh worked at an EPC company providing turnkey water solutions and held roles at PT Southern Chemicals & Engg (rising to CEO) and Thermax. He has managed projects ranging from seawater desalination to MBR-based sewage treatment across various industries.
Óscar Palomino
CTO
Oscar joined Organica in 2017, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the water and wastewater industry. Throughout his career, he has been involved across the full project lifecycle, including engineering, tender management, construction, and commissioning. Prior to joining Organica, Oscar led business development for Veolia’s industrial market in Spain and Portugal and previously held roles at Xylem. After several years leading Organica’s expansion as Business Head for Europe, Middle East and Africa, Oscar now serves as Chief Technology Officer, contributing a strong combination of technical expertise and commercial insight.
